A Brief Profile
Born on December 10, 1949, Dr. K. R. Kanaujia
completed his primary and secondary education from rural schools, B.Sc. (Ag.)
and M. Sc. (Ag.) from U.P. Institute of Agricultural Sciences (now C. S. Azad
Univ. of Agric. & Technology, Kanpur),
Ph.D. degree from Punjab Agriculture University,
Ludhiana.
He joined as Asstt.
Professor (Entomology) in G. B. Pant University of Agri. & Technology, Pantnagar in
1976 and did Post Doctorate Researches in Germany for 1979-1981. He was
selected as Associate Professor in 1987 and promoted to post of Professor in
1997. Dr. Kanaujia has meritorious career contributed in
leading/research/extension significantly. He occupied the posts of Addl. Dean
Student Welfare, Administration & Monitoring/Chief Security Officer prior
to joining as Director Extension Education/SAMETI. He has also served as
visiting Professor in World Bank Project at Ethiopia from 2003-05. Dr.
Kanaujia has published more than 130 research paper in the journal of
national and international journals of repute and handled 10 projects funded
by University and outside agencies.
