Sachin Kumar is Assistant Professor in the Department of Post Harvest Process and Food Engineering, College of Technology, G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUA&T), Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, India, since 25.09.2007 to till now. He obtained his B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering and M.Tech. in Process and Food Engineering from GBPUA&T and submitted his Ph.D. in Process and Food Engineering from GBPUA&T, Pantnagar.
Sachin Kumar has more than 19 years of teaching, research, and extension experience in food processing and post-harvest engineering. His research focuses on design and development of food processing equipment and technologies with nanofluid, machine vision, fruit juice shelf life and their storage, smart food systems, millet-based jaggery chocolate and muffins, value addition of agricultural by-products, and development of plant-based functional foods.
His research output includes 25+ research publications, book chapters, patents, and technologies, with publications in leading national and international journals. He has guided and served as advisory committee member of several M.Tech. scholars. Sachin Kumar is engaged in professional organizations, academic governance, specific innovations, and outreach initiatives, and is dedicated to promoting sustainable, technology-oriented solutions for post-harvest management and food processing.
