Dr. Govind Verma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology, College of Technology, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology (GBPUA&T), Pantnagar. He joined the University as a regular faculty member on 21 November 2015 and has since built close to a decade of continuous teaching, research, and institutional service. His academic training is in Computer Engineering and Information Technology (B.Tech) followed by a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering and done completed his doctorate in Computer Science, and his current areas of interest span machine learning, satellite/remote-sensing data analytics, time-series forecasting, and Internet-of-Things applications.

Across the assessment period he has consistently delivered his assigned undergraduate (B.Tech, IT) and postgraduate (MCA and M.Tech, IT) courses, guided a large number of MCA, M.Tech, and B.Tech project students, contributed to a growing portfolio of peer-reviewed journal papers, conference presentations, and book chapters, and taken on a wide range of administrative and student-welfare responsibilities.
